Nizhny Novgorod with its more than a million population has a lot of cinemas that demonstrate the latest movies of both domestic and foreign film industry. There is below the list of the major city movie theatres with the addresses and other contact information.

Recently opened Cinema Park Movie Theatre is a really new for Nizhny Novgorod cinema format. Karo-film Shokolad

Karo-film Movie Theatre in Shokolad Shopping Centre (Chocolate in English) is a 1st multi halls cinema in Nizhny Novgorod. Not too large halls but a wide choice of movies at any time. Why recommended? It is placed in the shopping centre on one of the central streets with many shopping centres, cafes, and restaurants, not far from Nizhny Novgorod Opera.

Oktyabr Movie Theatre (October in English) is a large and modern movie theatre located on the main pedestrian street Pokrovka (Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street) in the very centre of Nizhny Novgorod. Why recommended? The cinema is placed among the city sights on the main pedestrian street.
